Gaëtan Roussel is one of those artists whose style is instantly recognisable from the very first notes. Having made his name as the iconic lead singer of Louise Attaque, he has left his mark on the French music scene with tracks that have become classics, such as ‘J’t’emmène au vent’. Direct lyrics, catchy melodies and infectious energy quickly established the band as a leading force.
Following his time with Louise Attaque and the Tarmac project, Gaëtan Roussel has been pursuing a solo career since 2009, in which he continues to assert his artistic freedom. Blending rock, French chanson and electronic elements, he creates a sound that is both accessible and sophisticated, and constantly evolving.
Over the years, he has built up a long list of prestigious collaborations, notably with Alain Bashung and Vanessa Paradis, cementing his status as a leading figure on the contemporary French music scene.
On stage, his identity comes into its own: a commanding presence, an instantly recognisable voice and a rare ability to connect with the audience. Every concert becomes a shared experience, fuelled by the energy of the live performance and the power of the songs. An unmissable event to discover or rediscover a key figure in contemporary French music.
