Harlem GlobeTrotTers
True icons of world basketball, the Harlem Globetrotters are coming to the LDLC Arena in March 2027 for a spectacular show combining technical prowess, impressive dunks, incredible dribbling and humour. Much more than just a match, it is a unique experience where the players’ talent meets entertainment, in a festive atmosphere with constant interaction with the audience.
Founded in 1926 in Chicago by Abe Saperstein, the Harlem Globetrotters have spanned generations to become a legendary team. At a time marked by racial discrimination in American sport, they made their mark through their talent, determination and unique style of play. Initially recognised for their sporting achievements, they gradually developed an original approach to basketball, combining competition, creativity and humour.
This blend of sporting excellence and showmanship has become their hallmark. Over the decades, their international tours have helped to promote basketball to the four corners of the globe. Driven by generations of talented players, the Globetrotters perform a succession of spectacular moves, improbable passes and acrobatic shots, much to the delight of the spectators.
Over the decades, the Harlem Globetrotters have established themselves as true ambassadors of basketball. Their international tours have helped introduce the sport to millions of people, far beyond the borders of the United States. Their popularity has grown thanks to generations of talented players, capable of stringing together bewildering dribbles, improbable passes, spectacular shots and impressive dunks.
