Julien clerc

Julien Clerc returns to the stage today with all the elegance and timelessness that have characterised his career, built on more than 50 years of songs that have become classics. His unique and instantly recognisable voice continues to transcend the ages, bringing together several generations through a rich repertoire deeply rooted in the collective memory.

He first came to prominence in 1968 with *La Cavalerie* and quickly made a name for himself thanks to a series of songs that have since become iconic, including *Ce n’est rien*, *Si on chantait* and *Ma préférence*. These songs create a world that is both melodic and deeply rooted in French pop music.

Over the years, Julien Clerc has developed a distinctive style that blends pop and French chanson, characterised by meticulous orchestrations and songwriting that emphasises emotion and simplicity. This musical identity has enabled him to remain a prominent figure on the music scene, whilst maintaining a strong connection with a loyal, cross-generational audience.
