Orelsan is a French rapper, singer, songwriter and producer. Having burst onto the scene in 2008 with his album *Perdu d’avance*, he quickly established himself as one of the leading figures in French-language rap thanks to his distinctive style, which blends skilful lyricism, subtle humour and a clear-eyed view of his era.
Alongside Gringe, as part of the duo Casseurs Flowters, he developed a quirky, narrative-driven style, before cementing his solo career with landmark albums such as *Le Chant des Sirènes*, *La fête est finie* and *Civilisation*. These projects were a hit with critics and the public alike, earning him numerous awards, including several Victoires de la Musique.
Over the years, Orelsan has established himself as a keen observer of contemporary society. His lyrics, which are often personal, offer a perceptive take on universal themes such as doubt, ambition, our relationship with time and the changing nature of human relationships. This ability to combine apparent simplicity with depth of meaning plays a key part in the breadth of his influence.
On stage, Orelsan delivers polished performances in which artistic rigour and a close connection with the audience are perfectly balanced. Each concert thus becomes an immersive experience, true to the world he has been building since his debut.

Constantly evolving, he continues to reinvent his approach whilst retaining a strong identity, making him one of the leading figures on the French music scene today.
He will be back on stage for a second time in 2026 – a much-anticipated event that promises to draw an ever-growing audience to his world.
