sdm
SDM has gradually established himself as one of the most influential artists on the French rap scene. Driven by direct lyrics, a sharp flow and an authenticity that resonates with an entire generation, he has, over the years, built a strong connection with his audience. With each new project, the rapper has cemented his artistic identity and reached new milestones, eventually becoming one of the leading figures on today’s urban music scene.
Following the success of *Ocho*, *Liens du 100* and *À la vie à la mort*, SDM has not, however, rested on his laurels. Driven by a desire to reinvent himself and explore new directions, the artist took the time to reflect on the next stage of his career and what he wanted to convey in his next project.
It was in this spirit that *In Infinitum*, his fourth studio album due for release on 13 November 2026, came into being. To write it, SDM flew off with his usual team to the Norwegian fjords, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Staying true to his long-standing team, he chose to isolate himself for several days in an almost timeless setting so that he could devote himself entirely to the creative process. An experience he himself described as a ‘Robinson Crusoe’-style adventure, where isolation and nature fuelled the project’s inspiration.
This creative interlude proved particularly fruitful, enabling the artist to produce several tracks in the space of a few days. Blending rap, Afro influences and fresh sounds, *In Infinitum* promises to be an ambitious project that showcases SDM’s evolution whilst remaining true to what has been his strength since his early days.
