Superbus are making a highly anticipated return to the forefront of the French pop-rock scene with a fresh wave of creativity driven by their seventh album, *OK KO*. As an iconic band of the 2000s, they have established a strong identity that blends rock energy, catchy choruses and an instantly recognisable aesthetic.
Led by Jennifer Ayache, the band has left its mark on several generations with tracks that have become classics, such as ‘Lola’, ‘Radio Song’ and ‘Butterfly’. Their music, which is both uplifting and energetic, has helped to define a significant part of contemporary French pop-rock.
For this new chapter, Superbus revisits some of their classics with a modern twist and brand-new collaborations, notably with Hoshi and Nicola Sirkis on a new version of ‘Lola’, as well as with Rori on ‘Butterfly’. It’s a way of creating a dialogue between their legacy and a new generation of artists.
This comeback is the latest chapter in the story of a band which, after a career spanning more than 20 years – celebrated in 2022 – continues to evolve whilst remaining true to its roots: catchy tracks, a powerful live energy and a genuine connection with the audience.
With a blend of unapologetic nostalgia and new tracks tailor-made for the stage, Superbus are back with their trademark pop-rock sound that continues to bring people together, ready to thrill both long-standing fans and new listeners alike.
