Twenty One Pilots
On 24 April 2025, on their first visit to Lyon, Twenty One Pilots proved once again why the duo have become a must-see on stage. With a mix of spectacular performances and unforgettable moments shared with their fans, the concert transformed the LDLC Arena into a veritable theatre of emotions.

The iconic alternative rock duo stopped off in Lyon for a single night. Eagerly awaited by their fans, Twenty One Pilots had invited Balu Brigada to open the evening. The New Zealand band got the festivities off to a flying start, whipping the crowd into a frenzy before the American duo’s long-awaited arrival.
Shortly before 9 pm, the already frenzied crowd welcomed Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun. As the curtain fell to the opening notes of ‘Overcompensate’, Josh Dun took his place at the drums whilst Tyler Joseph, his face concealed by a balaclava, made his entrance onto the stage. The songs flowed one after another in an electric atmosphere, fuelled by a crowd singing along to every word in unison.
Next up is ‘Car Radio’. In a surprise moment for which the band is renowned, Tyler Joseph appears on the third tier of the stands at the LDLC Arena before removing his balaclava to the cheers of the crowd.
The evening continues with a mix of moving moments and displays of a striking closeness with their fans. Tyler Joseph keeps making his way back and forth through the crowd, sometimes carried by the audience on a platform, sometimes perched on a stage at the back of the pit. Later, Josh Dun appeared, torch in hand, escorting Tyler Joseph to the main stage before the concert kicked off again in earnest with ‘Navigating’.
At the end of the show, Tyler Joseph returned to the B-Stage, where a young fan joined him to perform ‘Ride’ alongside him, treating the audience to a moment that was as unexpected as it was moving.
For the final track, the two artists head down into the pit one last time and ask the audience to make way so that two stages can be set up. The audience then gathered round them for a dazzling finale to ‘Trees’, amidst a shower of confetti. A spectacular and deeply moving conclusion, bringing a memorable evening at the LDLC Arena to a close.
