As part of their world tour, OneRepublic pulled into the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Décines on 7 July 2026 for what promised to be an electrifying evening.
In front of a packed house and an audience there to sing along to their greatest hits, the American band put on a spectacular show, blending energy and emotion. From the unmissable ‘Counting Stars’, ‘Apologize’ and ‘I Lived’, OneRepublic had the Arena rocking and confirmed, once again, the full extent of their international success.
A stop-off in Lyon that was clearly a moment to remember!
OneRepublic is, above all, the story of a band that has managed to turn its dreams into global hits. Formed in the early 2000s around Ryan Tedder, the American band quickly made a name for itself thanks to its blend of pop, rock and electronic sounds. Their first major hit came with ‘Apologize’, remixed by Timbaland in 2007. The track soared up the charts and propelled OneRepublic into the international spotlight.
Following this meteoric rise to fame, OneRepublic went on to release a string of hits that became must-hear tracks. With songs such as ‘Stop and Stare’, ‘Secrets’ and ‘Good Life’, the band forged a musical identity that is at once energetic, melodic and highly accessible. Their second album, *Waking Up*, confirmed that ‘Apologize’ was no fluke: OneRepublic are here to stay and are determined to make their mark on the global pop scene.
Over the years, the band has continued to reinvent itself without losing its essence. Songs such as ‘Counting Stars’, ‘Love Runs Out’, ‘I Lived’ and ‘Wherever I Go’ demonstrate their ability to move from one style to another whilst retaining catchy choruses. Ryan Tedder has also become a highly sought-after songwriter, working in particular with major pop stars.
