June 30, 2026

The line-up for the first edition of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Grand Prix continues to grow. From 18 to 25 October 2026, the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Décines will host a brand-new event on the ATP Tour calendar, bringing together several big names from the world of tennis. Following the announcements regarding Gaël Monfils, Stan Wawrinka and Valentin Vacherot, it is now Ugo Humbert’s turn to confirm his participation.

Another major name in French tennis at the LDLC Arena

At the age of 28, the Metz-born player has established himself as one of the leading figures in French tennis on the international circuit. Currently ranked 30th in the world, the left-hander is renowned for his effectiveness on hard courts and his ability to perform in major tournaments.

Ugo Humbert is fresh from two consecutive victories at the Open 13 Provence in Marseille, in 2024 and 2025, where he proved his worth in front of his home crowd. This form was recently confirmed by an excellent run at the ATP 250 tournament in Eastbourne, culminating in a final on grass.

An experienced player with high ambitions

No stranger to big moments, the former world number 13 – his highest ranking achieved in 2024 – already has a strong track record, having won seven ATP titles, including three in France between 2023 and 2025.

His experience, character and attacking style of play will make him one of the contenders to watch at this inaugural edition of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Grand Prix.

A first edition that promises to be exceptional

With the gradual arrival of new talent and established names on the circuit, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Grand Prix is establishing itself as one of the major events of the ATP Tour’s end-of-season calendar.

Spectators will have the chance to enjoy a week of top-class tennis in the stunning setting of the LDLC Arena, in the heart of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

Tickets are already on sale for this inaugural edition, offering the chance to experience a brand-new event.
